Two samples of substances composed of carbon and oxygen are analyzed. Sample 1 contains 5.00 grams of C and 13.3 grams of O. Sample 2 contains 20.0 grams of C and 64.2 grams of O. I must clearly be able to show the reason for my answer, and determine if the samples are of the same or different compounds.
