Assignment Description:
Write a maximum of 3000 words on ONE (1) of the following:
1. Using forward mapping and drawing on the example of Chile's Puente Programme OR a development programme or project of your choice, design a LOGICAL MODEL. Clearly describe the programme or project by detailing and explaining the key components of the model.
2. Drawing on the experiences of ONE small state, discuss key similarities between tracking, monitoring and evaluation and the importance of all three processes to achieving sustainable development.
3. ‘EFFECTIVELY monitoring and evaluating progress made towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) is hampered by significant data gaps and the untimely and unreliable collection of dis/aggregated data'. With reference to ONE small OR developed country context and ONE SDG, discuss and make recommendations for improvement.
4. Critically evaluate the photograph below and make a case for the importance of local ownership to good monitoring and evaluation.
