Eliot Evans is a 41-year-old sales manager whose physician referred him for services. He has been complaining of fatigue, loss of motivation, sleepiness, headaches, feeling unsociable, and having difficulty concentrating. His symptoms occur mostly on weekends, and as a result he often begs off weekend social activities, causing his wife to be very annoyed with him. She complains that he is fine during the week but never feels like going out with friends or playing with the children on weekends. He is in good health, with no recent history of any medical conditions. Mr. Evans works a 60-hour week in a busy car dealership and barely sees his family during the week. At work he is often anxious, restless, and constantly busy. He often has trouble sleeping on weeknights because he worries about his job. He denies marital or family problems, other than those caused by him not wanting to do anything on the weekends. Demonstrate Authencity.
