The report should be prepared with practical site visit nearby any construction site visit students are required to attend the site visit organized by the module tutor in this the assignment focus on construction concepts, construction hazards, and safety procedures are adopted by the company also to explain the company safety standards are managed by the company
Based on the above, the student is required to write an assignment of 2000 words and submit covering the following aspects;
- Construction hazards
- Waste disposal procedures
- Safety measures , safety standards , safe working practices
- Required Regulatory legislations on construction
Guidelines
You are advised to visit location observe and prepare collect the data on the above points
- The report should include the details of the project, different stages or activities of construction.
- You need to discuss only, any two major physical, chemical, safety and ergonomical hazards each. You have to also explain the safe work practices to be followed to control the risk associated with these hazards.
- Students are advised not to include any hazards during the operational phase of the project. The hazards during construction of the project is expected.
- You must Line spacing 1.5 with normal margins on all four sides of word document.
- the entire course (text, captions, pictures, photos, statistics and table) should be printed in black and white, while no additional marks will be allotted if submitted in colour.
- Article text should be word processed, typed in A4 paper size in Times New Roman fonts with 12 point while captions should be sentence case.
- Content headings should be Times New Roman font with 14 point, bold and capitalize each word. The article should have a clear distinctive heading in conjunction to the text
