A 42- space panel is supplied from a 480Y/277V, 3-phase four-wire system. Three phase conductors, the neutral, and the equipment-grounding conductor are brought to the panel. The overcurrent devices in the panel, excluding the main, consists of 9 three-pole, 30 A breakers supplying branch circuits consisting of three ungrounded conductors and an equipment grounding conductor. In addition, there are two 20 A, single-pole breakers protecting branch circuits supplying 277V lighting circuits. Is this panel classified as a power panelboard or an appliance and branch circuit panel-board?
