What, if anything, is wrong with Russell’s theory of descriptions? How well does he solve the three problems that he sets out to solve (discuss all three). Include a discussion of the secondary and primary position of a denoting phrase and comment on its signi?cance, if any. (I recommend looking at Delia GraV ’s ‘Descriptions as Predicates’ Philosophical Studies, 102, 2001.)
