The purpose of this assignment is to assess the food safety practices around you and describe the roles of various entities to promote food safety.

Instructions

Choose a place where food is served. (chipotle) This could be your own home, a restaurant, cafeteria, sporting venue, etc.
Observe the food preparation and service and take note of any negative food safety practices. List and describe at least 5 areas that you observe. Even if you did not actually observe food safety infractions, discuss areas that could potentially be problematic.
Based off of your observations, come up with a food safety improvement plan. What areas could you change to make food safer? Address what individuals, the retailer, food manufacturers, and the government (federal or local) can do to make sure that the food you eat is safe.

Make sure to cite any sources you use in APA f0rmat, both in text and in a reference list.
