Sponsor/Executive Leadership role: This person is the voice of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) program. This person would need to deal with all over-arching issues/roadblocks related to the EA program (or project). This person would also be responsible for acquiring resources including program sponsors, stakeholders, executive leaders, business partners/SME's, IT team/s, etc. for the program. This person would be responsible for large decisions impacting the program. Their communication would be at the beginning of the program and would include roles and responsibilities of resources. Their communications would need to be updated as frequently as resources change. This could be only once or many times.

Chief Architect/Program Manager role: This person would be responsible for the documentation process and methods by which documentation would be gathered and would identify the program EA standards that resources would follow. They would determine what type of information is needed in the program EA documentation including strategic plan, scenarios, flow charts, data models, data dictionary, systems diagrams, etc.). This person would talk about the frequency of documentation updates and change requests. This person would also talk about the importance of documentation reuse to eliminate duplication and the importance of including both current and future state.

End-User Representative/Requirements Identification role: This person would be responsible for identifying end-user requirements on EA components such as processes, projects, IT resources, services, program goals, and so forth. This person would be responsible for each area of the framework, such as 1) strategy (strategic future-state goals or outcomes expected as a result of the program) or 2) services and applications (Web services, API's, automated services, supporting applications upstream and downstream, and so on).

Repository Manager/Website Content Support role: This person would be responsible for maintaining the EA program Web site and documentation that needs to be included on the Web site. This person would be responsible for any links to other Web sites that are related to the EA program such as links to supporting software applications, business policies and standards, and architecture models for example. This person would need to guide document management and storage and would determine storage. This person would be responsible for the design of the repository.

Research/Requirements Analyst role: This person would be responsible for the documentation of the business/end-user requirements and documentation flow/methods. This person would be responsible for the current state process documentation and future state of the program, assumptions, out of scope and in scope items, scenarios, and the like. This person would need to reference supporting documentation including supporting application URL's, requirements traceability and references to other documentation that could support the program, and change requests for example.
