The role of the supervisor in motivating staff

1.Imagine that you are the supervisor of 10 people. Your goal is to motivate employees to make better job. One of these employees has shown little cooperation since being hired. Two of them have come to you to demand salary increases, but the economic position of the company, at the moment, does not allow salary increases. The rest of the employees cooperate at all times and exceed expectations in their duties.

2. How can a supervisor identify that there is little motivation within her employees?

3.At least three (3) proposals you have in order to achieve your goal of motivating employees to make a better job.

4.How would you motivate employees who, as in the situation described, cooperate at all times and exceed expectations in their duties? Do you think it is necessary to consider them in your proposals if they are doing their job well?
