Assignment Brief:

Management accounting and control is affected by changing contexts and current challenges facing organisations and society. These challenges include (but are not limited to):
- risk and the increasing need for comprehensive risk management practices;
- environmental, social and ethical concerns;
- interorganizational relationships and the challenges posed by complex global supply chains;
- digitalization and its effect on management accounting practice and relevance.

Required:
Focussing on one, or a maximum of two of these challenges as stated above, critically evaluate the impact that they have for management accounting practice and management control.
