Write a paper on a topic of your choice in the area of robotics.

Find a topic where robotics technology has developed in a new area within the last five years, or a current research project still in development which is hoped to be ready in the near future.

Your paper should be formatted using 12pt text in a proportional-spaced font (i.e., not Courier), 1 inch margins, double spaced lines, no extra blank lines between paragraphs. You should include photos or illustrations, but they do not count toward your page limit. Your reference list should be on a separate page and does not count toward your page limit.

Min 4 sources and At least two of your sources must be available in print, such as a newspaper article, academic journal, or conference.
Ideas
You must choose a specific topic for your research. Robotics is used in so many areas that you are bound to find a specific area of interest to you. Here are a few general areas you might look into but you are not limited to these:
• entertainment or education
• assisting the elderly or handicapped
• military applications
• working in hazardous areas and/or space
• medical applications
Here are some ideas to guide you as you explore your chosen topic. You don't have to explicitly answer every one of these in your paper.
• Who developed/is developing this technology?
• What was their motivation for the project?
• What are some specific advantages of using robotics in this area?
• What are the hardest aspects of using robotics in this way?
• What are the negative impacts of using robotics in this area?
