Question

Given the risks of sexual harassment liability, many companies have policies barring intimate relationships between employees, at least between employees in the same unit or when one supervises the other. But you have also learned that employees may have privacy rights that undue employer intrusion can violate. Suppose your company has a policy against such relationships between supervisors and subordinates, and an anonymous complaint arrives stating that Supervisor X is having an affair with Subordinate Y. The Director of Human Resources has asked for your guidance on how to proceed.
