1. Thinking of positive risk you think of opportunities and with negative risk it should put you in the mind of threats both which are components of the SWOT analysis. Some opportunities that can come with positive risk are; gaining or retaining new customers, positive public image and new technological advancements. Some tthreats that may arise from negative risk are damage to property, injury to people, negative public image and loss of customers and revenue. In Gainesville, several years ago they created a community for the homeless called Grace Market Place. There are certain requirements that one must meet to live in Grace and in returne they have access to shelter, food, restrooms, showers and utilities. As a result of the requirements, several people were denied access to Grace and created their own community outside of the gates of Grace later termed Dignity Village. Over the years there has been an increase in drug usage, assaults and deaths in Dignity Village. Recently, the City of Gainesville has determined they need to shut Grace down and has agreed to allow some of the people from Dignity Village to move into Grace in an assigned area. Many people from Dignity Village are opposed to this and have began setting tents on fire and even the amount of over doses has increased. In this project they have experienced both positive and negative risk results and are trying to find a way to eliminate the negative.
