Purpose:  

General Electric is in a difficult financial position.   The new CEO reduced the dividend, sold off divisions and is attempting to turn the company around.  The previous CEO (Immelt) mischaracterized the firm's performance to the Board, investors, and analysts.  Your job is to examine how management is responding to the challenge of turning General Electric into a successful company.
