Tommy Turbo, a 33-year-old male, is seen by Dr. M for right knee pain. Tommy informed the doctor that he is a soccer player and fell during a practice while running. Tommy stated that he heard a popping sound, and for the last 2 days, he has had knee pain and swelling. Dr. M orders an XRAY and Tommy completes it. The next day, Dr. M states that the XRAY showed no breaks or tears, and recommended if Tommy is still having pain, to see a Physical Therapist. Tommy agrees to seeing Physical Therapy and asks for a referral to get an appointment. Tommy states that he would prefer to go to the place closest to his house, called Pain Away Physical Therapy. Pain Away is not an IU Health facility, so they do not have immediate access to the patient's records.
