What are you're though on this discussion, I'm trying to get a better understanding from the author;

When looking at this list of testing that exists, it is abundantly clear that many tests exists (n.d.). Looking at one of these tests, the Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale, it is apparent that not all testing is created equally. This type of testing contains 37 yes or no questions that can be completed within 10 minutes in order to rate a number of Anxiety related symptoms (n.d.). This testing mechanism is used to diagnose anxiety in 6 to 19 year olds (n.d). With this information, it is easy to understand why assessment tools can misdiagnose an individual. With questions only accepting an answer as simple as yes or no, it does not account for misunderstanding of the question, circumstantial answers, and much more. This could very easily lead to a wrong diagnosis just based on the fact that the test is not very extensive and only allows for such simple responses to it.
