Size Hotel: 375 rooms Historically, July and August are busy months for the City View hotel. Most hotels in the city run high occupancies and City Hotel is not an exception. Guests that stay at the City View Hotel come from all over the world. Families, tour groups and individual travers alike love staying at the hotel. The has a beautiful outdoor pool and restaurant patio which guests enjoy during the warm summer days. Yearly the hotel hires seasonal staff during the summer months to manage the busy operations in the hotel. Also, this year expects high occupancies and preparations are in full swing. On June 6th the General Manager Anna gets a call from the Night Manager Tom. Tom informs Anna that there is a major flood in the hotel. Anna jumps out of bed and goes straight to the hotel. When she arrives, she realizes the flood has done quite some damage to the hotel rooms. After investigating the damage, the Director of Maintenance, Gary, informs Anna that 150 rooms will be out of order for at least 3 months. Anna is concerned as this will impact July and August which are the busiest months of the year. Anna calls the Revenue Manager Tina right away.
