What's good feedback for this discussion post? After reviewing the clips of Race - The Power of an Illusion, I was interested in the perspective of looking at race in a form of an illusion vs. reality that many of us view it as. Many people view race as a biological trait. The first part of the video involved students testing their DNA to find characteristics that may be similar to others. Verbally they stated who they may be the most alike based on physical contributes. I would have found it interesting to view their results and compare their original thoughts. Overall, the videos have broken down the concept of race to be more than physical characteristics. Race has been formed over hundreds of years through society.
