Molly, a clerk in the hospital billing department, called her manager after reviewing a prescription for a recent patient. The reason is, the dosage on the prescription seemed like an unusually high quantity of the drug. Although she is not a doctor, Molly was concerned that if this was an error, the patient could be in danger. Later, Molly's manager gave her praise. She appreciated Molly's diligence and informed her that her instincts were correct-there was an error in the prescription.
