Discussion 1: Finding an Interview Subject for Your Final Project

For your Final Project, you will interview a mental health counselor involved with a client population or client issue that interests you. Fulfilling this last part can be difficult, depending on your interests and your vision of yourself as a counseling professional. Considering potential candidates to interview will require searching websites and agencies that match your interests.

In this Discussion, you will begin work on your Final Project. You will post at least two websites that you believe will help you find the right counselor to interview.

To Prepare: • Review the Final Project Overview document for tools to help you find an appropriate interview subject. Also, it is highly recommended to review the Final Project Overview in its entirety for additional information.

• Consider websites and other resources to use to search for and select an interview subject.
