Assignment:

1. You'll want to review the Psychology Today article on Psychopathy ("NIne Clues You Might be Dealing with a Psychopath") and read the entry from the DSM-5 on "Antisocial Personality Disorder", and also review the entry for "Narcissistic Personality Disorder". In "Specifiers" under Narcissistic Personality Disorder (in the DSM-5) there is a brief discussion of "traits of antagonism" and "malignant narcissism" (please review). It isn't always easy to identify distinct personality disorders. When consulting all three of these articles/entries, where do you see overlap, or potential continuity of diagnostic criteria (between narcissistic personality disorder, on the one hand, and psychopathology and antisocial personality disorder, on the other hand)? (Remember that the DSM-5 has two different sets of criteria--one set focused on the self, and one set focused on the self in relation to others.)

2. Why might it be that despite all of Amy's planning, she gets robbed by Jeff and Greta at the motel? And why might Amy accept Nick's avowal of love on the video confession (p. 299, p. 304)?
