Peter has asked Bob to review his plan to consult with the team via email. Peter sends the following email to Bob:

Hi Bob - thanks for the information. My plan now is to:

Send an email to the team and request a meeting with everyone about the new intranet and the location of WHS information and forms
Ask team for other ideas about the most effective way for the meeting to take place
Provide the team with options for the meeting (call the casuals and a toolbox talk for the full-timers) due to the shifts and locations of the team
Ask team if they want to elect a health and safety representative

Bob knows that ...WHS Act does not require a person conducting a business or undertaking to reach agreement with their workers on how consultation will occur but reaching an agreement will help to make the consultation more effective. Peter sends the email and receives responses from the team with mixed and negative results, he contacts Bob and explains the situation.
