Review the readings, lesson notes, and digital media about behavior change and behavior change theories, the health belief model (HBM), and the transtheoretical model (TTM).

For the purpose of this paper:

1. Select a population. For example, African American women aged X to X who live in [insert a geographic location].
2. Select a health behavior that you wish to change within this population (e.g. teen pregnancy, smoking, substance use, physical inactivity, etc.).
3. Provide a description of why the health behavior is important to change within this population (using the literature to develop an epidemiological profile of the health behavior's impact on the health of your selected population).
4. Describe the various factors that influence the behavior within your selected population. For example, individual, interpersonal, community, organizational, policy, neighborhood level factors.
5. Provide a brief description of the HBM and TTM.
6. Which theoretical framework (HMB or TTM) is best suited for the behavior change you selected within your identified population? Explain why.
7. What behavior change techniques will you use? Why? (Use the theoretical framework to explain your rationale.) What communication strategies would you use to reach your selected population with health information? Be sure to consider levels of health literacy when identifying communication channels to reach your selected population.
8. What might be some challenges in implementing this behavior change intervention?
