Assignment:

Write a report for the Wamberal -Terrigal Beach Protection Group regarding the potential climate change impacts to the beach and review Council's past and current strategies.

The report should include the following:

1. Background on the underlying/historical issues including a review of the sections of the Gosford Beaches Coastal Management Plan relating to Wamberal Beach;

2. Current and likely future beach states under predicted climate models;

3. An assessment of the 5 coastal protection concept designs that Council has proposed; and

4. Recommendations to the WTBPG that they can approach Council with on the best course of action regarding planning priorities and suggested management options.
