Question: California-based Wagner Foods, Inc., has a process that inserts fruit juice into 24-ounce containers. When the process is in control, half the cans actually contain more than 24 ounces and half contain less. Suppose a quality inspector has just randomly sampled nine cans and found that all nine had more than 24 ounces. Calculate the probability that this result would occur if the filling process was actually still in control. Based on this probability, what conclusion might be reached? Discuss.
