When you look into a mirror you see yourself reversed left-to-right from how others see you. What you see in a mirror as your left side appears to someone else as your right side. If you tilt your head, the left and right sides of your face still appear reversed in the mirror. Using the law of reflection, explain why the top and bottom areas of your image are not reversed in a mirror. In other words, why does a mirror appear to only reverse things in the horizontal direction?
