What are we to do with this American Dream? ;)

The year Kamp writes is 2009 and America is in the thick of the recession. In the first 7 pages, what historical moment does Kamp compare the recession to and how does this relate to his view that there is hope for the American Dream?

What does Kamp argue the American Dream has come to mean for many Americans today? Draw from some of the specific details he gives.

Kamp gives us a more thorough look at James Truslow Adams and his view of the American Dream. What is the contrast between view Adams has and the current view Kamp says we have today? How has dream changed from when Adams firstdefined it?
