Question: This report focuses on System Integrators (SysInteg) operations and identifies the problem of greatest importance at the moment using various evidence and quality analysis tools. The goal of this report is to assist System Integrators in determining where and why they are missing in terms of operational efficiency, which may have a direct influence on their promise to provide on-time, dependable, and high-quality services. To identify the problem, various instances at System Integrators have been referred to determine the highest priority issue which is followed by a root cause analysis. The Root Cause Analysis was carried out using the Pareto Analysis, which takes into account many aspects and the frequency of occurrences to discover the root cause of the problem. The issue at System Integrators is a long lead time, which causes operational inefficiencies, excessive wait times, and higher inventory costs, affecting profitability and the company's reputation of reliability. We discovered that the fundamental reason for such a long lead time is delayed and superfluous quality checks, which are producing this issue in their operations after doing the Pareto Analysis. Additionally, the lack of an integrated communication route contributes to this problem. Our recommended course of action for System Integrators is to employ an outside qualified quality assurance personnel to perform all inspections for the time being, and subsequently form an in-house inspection team that will be certified after training and manage all inspection operations that will result in improved efficiency and effectiveness.
