Question

Responsible and accountable for the provision of direct, age specific, resident care to those assigned to his/her care for each established shift. Provide resident care according to the nursing processes of the facility and is responsible for the coordination of the team approach to meet each resident's individual needs. Provide clinical leadership for other nursing staff as assigned and performs related duties as required. Supervise the LVNs, CNAs, and other ancillary nursing personnel involved in the delivery of resident care that may be working on the unit. Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions. Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in leadership technique and coordination of people and resources. Patient care and admissions, vital signs, record input and output, blood sugar check, assistance with activities of daily living, monitor medication intake, and enforce safety precautions.
