Trent is subject to the approval and oversight of Jax’s board of directors. Carik is a Jax manager whose duties include the firm’s day-to-day hiring, firing, purchasing, and selling. Dilig is a Jax salesperson, whose daily activities are controlled by Carik. Egrat writes technical manuals for Jax products according to Trent’s instructions and subject to Jax’s control, but has no dealings with Jax customers.
