Background

In December of 2019, most of the world had little idea about what was beginning and would overtake the globe within a matter of months: the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The scope and toll of the coronavirus will not be fully understood for a number of years. However, a century has passed since the 1918 Influenza Pandemic and a lot has been written about how we can interpret its impact. After completing your readings and watching Dr. Moran's video, visit the "Influenza Encyclopedia" page where you can browse by subject on what to read more about from this past pandemic.
