Respond to this paragraph going more into depth; From the charts above, it appears that the majority of the money came from health insurance at 75%. The rest is divided among various third party payers, out of pocket costs, and public health activities. The health insurance is then broken down to private insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/CHIP options with private insurances taking the most accountability with 34%. Looking at where the money was spent, we can see from the second part of the chart that it went to various healthcare services including visits or medications. When looking at a legal standpoint, I believe that healthcare organizations can put a lot more effort into preventative measures. The reason behind this is because if a provider can successfully prevent certain conditions from progressing, the patient can ultimately spend less in the long run because they are not paying higher prices for specialty treatment. Doing this saved money for patients, hospitals, and insurance companies so there will be more money to be redirected towards other aspects of healthcare that don't get a lot of funding.
