Doctoral Study Qualititative Business Problem
In developing countries globalization represents a big challenge for micro and small enterprises; since they do not have enough resources to face the competition many of them do not stay in the market for a long time (Pérez, A., Torralba, A., Cruz, J.A., & Martínez, I.A. 2016).
According to the INEGI (2016), 33% of the entrant enterprises in Mexico do not survive the first year, and 65% close during the first five years.
The general business problem is that micro and small enterprises in México lack adequate management, funding sources, and financial planning. The specific business problem is that owners and managers of small enterprises lack strategies to access formal financing in México.
