Question: A revocable trust account does make the process easier because you don't have to go through probate court which is great. The process will be a lot longer because probate proceedings are public and cost a lot more because of the court fees. Another great option is an irrevocable trust account. An irrevocable trust account protects you from lawsuits and creditors because the assets are no longer available to you once you put it in a trust account. Both accounts have their pros and cons. It's nice to have a choice.
Prefer to have a revocable account because you have the option to make changes. Also, because everything is done private with a revocable trust account.
