Her symptoms began two days ago, and her parents report that she has been increasingly lethargic and irritable. Sarah has no significant medical history and is up to date on her vaccinations. Clinical Presentation: Fever: Sarah has a fever of 101.5°F (38.6°C) measured at home. Respiratory Symptoms: Sarah has a persistent cough, which is productive of yellowish-green sputum. She appears to be in respiratory distress, with increased work of breathing and nasal flaring. General Appearance: Sarah appears lethargic and irritable.
