What kind of events do you think can be traumatic in nature (note just list different types of events like natural disaster)? Some people think only big events can count as traumatic (e.g., you almost died), while others believe that we can feel threat in other types of scenarios (e.g., verbal bullying). Explain why you think your listed event could be traumatic in nature. Please respect the boundaries of yourselves and your classmates in knowing that this forum is to apply your knowledge/ skill of what you have learned in regard to trauma instead of sharing personal stories and experiences. While these are valuable, we want us all to be safe in our class environment and respect the boundaries of the learning environment.
