Provide the reader with information about a sport or leisure time activity of which you are personally familiar. Describe yourself participating in this activity. Discuss the benefits to a participant in this activity. How does this activity fulfill some Universal Human Value (UHV) for you? Choose a topic of worthwhile personal interest, and possibly even passion.

You may wish to take a conservative or a liberal stance on a topic. Be sure that the essay is thesis driven. The essay should be developed according to the methods discussed in class and in the textbook. The paper should be 4 - 6 pages (1500 - 2000 words). The paper is worth 100 points. You will be responsible for all phases of the writing process. Research is required (3 to 4 sources cited; websites/magazine/newspaper articles are OK).
