Throughout many of my experiences, I have talked myself out of using all kinds of resources. It's always been very uncomfortable to ask for help. I was too prideful, or I felt that I could figure it out on my own. For example, I had to submit a report using excel to my supervisor. I was not great at using excel and was still learning. It has taken me years to understand how to use Excel properly. When I was shown once or twice how to complete this report, I felt I had it. Now, when it was time to submit the report, it was not right. I learned a lot from this experience and others. It is okay to utilize your resources. The resources are there to help you grow and make you better. Nowadays, if I am struggling with something, I don't hesitate to ask for assistance. I was told, "no question is a dumb question." Meaning, it does not matter how big or small the question is; you should always ask for help.
The SNHU resource that I have used frequently is my advisor. After speaking to her for the first time, I knew she would help me reach my goals. She advised me that I have a team of people here to assist me every step of the way. The resource outside of SNHU would be Grammarly; it helps me make sure my delivery is correct and understanding.
