Topic: The Thirty Years' War (1618-1648): Exploring Causes, Consequences, and Changing Dynamics in Early Modern Europe

Need help to write up my final assignment with following criteria. Only write up but not poster.

For the final project of this class, you will write a research topic of your choosing. Any topic from this course is acceptable (e.g., person, event, place, idea, etc., etc.,) Your poster must consist of at least two primary sources, two secondary sources, and four images on said topic. The poster must be accompanied by a four-page write-up about your topic, your research, and your conclusions. How you create the poster is up to you. You can use PowerPoint, Word, or any other software/web design that you know of.

Research Write-up: For your research write-up, be sure that/think about:,

  1. How you utilized primary sources and why you did do so to better understand this historical topic.
  2. What is your research methodology?
  3. How your research contributes to/intervene in the historiographical narrative on the said topic (i.e. are you supporting another scholar's argument? Are you challenging one? Are you shifting the lens of historical inquiry on the topic? Etc.)
