1. Research on colonization as it applies to Africans in the United States in the 1800s will show that there was much controversy on that topic. Research the two sides of the issue, and write a paper arguing for the side with which you agree. Do not argue the issue from a contemporary point of view. Your argument must consist of the argument of that time period. 2. Research the ideas of W.E.B. DuBois and Booker T. Washington. Write a paper arguing for the side with which you agree.
