Do you agree with this person research question that falls within the domain of social science. Please explain why you agree with this person.

Is there a difference in the number of crimes before and after pandemic? This research question will fall under Repeated Measures. Repeated Measures is a statistical analysis that studies the before and after change of a same variable. For such research data would be collected before the pandemic and then data would be collected after the pandemic when the lockdowns were terminated.

This analysis has four forms of hypothesis: H0: there is no change, H1: yes, there is change, H1: μD > 0 , and H1: μD < 0. The purpose of conducting this research is that it is commonly said that pandemic had an affect on people's mental health, was the affect on mental health also cause of increase in criminal activities? The outcome of the research can help in distinguishing between whether or not the pandemic had significant impact.
