You are a researcher interested in the effects of stress on the brain and cognition. Suppose you want to test the hypothesis that people experiencing chronic stress have a harder time relaxing when they are exposed to calming music. You have recruited 10 participants who scored high on a daily life stressor questionnaire along with 10 participants who score low on the questionnaire. To test your hypothesis, you will record participants' EEG rhythms while they listen to calming music. Your first participant has just arrived to the lab.

How do you expect your two groups of participants to differ in terms of their EEG rhythms once the calming music is being played? Explain your reasoning.
