I need to research the Crime Severity Index for Lethbridge city and Alberta as a province; these statistics will be categorized into violent crimes and non-violent crimes.

In addition to researching the CSI, I will need to research the correlates of crime for Lethbridge city and Alberta as a province: Age and gender, HINT: Census data will help you with this research. For substance abuse, try researching drug-related charges/convictions or overdose rates.

For spacial location research try researching urban/rural crime rates or hotspots.

Once you have completed the research, compile all the relevant data into easy-to-view charts, graphs or infographics that display the disparities between Lethbridge city and Alberta province. In order to compare the data from your city to the province you will need to convert ALL your data into percentages or per-capita figures. HINT: Review Chapter 4 - Counting Crime.

Analyze the data. Compare the data from your city to the provincial. Do the correlates support the CSI for your city? Do you notice any trends or patterns? As a group provide an analysis of this information.

This will be a collaboration involving all group members
