Research proposal
Assessment description
This assessment will help you learn about the research process by developing a research proposal. As part of this process, you will also learn how to differentiate quantitative and qualitative research and conduct a literature review.
Assessment instructions
You will be completing this task based on the group (3-4 students/individual) that you have selected.
Your research proposal structure must include the ñtle of your study and the following sections:
1. Abstract (100 words maximum)
Context (Industry, sector, company, demographic groups and other items related to your research) and research problem Research aim
Theory
Significance
2. Introduction/background
Study context in terms of the company, industry, sector, demographic group and other items suitable to your research and a research problem currently happening in this study context. Research aims and research objectives (research aim broken into 2-3 specihc, short objectives).
3. Literature review
Theory: Find a related theory for your research problem.

° Theory: Find a related theory for your research problem.
• For example, If you are measuring the attitude of any group toward an issue/object/product/pol you may use the
Theory of Planned Behaviour (TRA or TPB theory).
° Relañonships among variables: This section may have 2-3 short paragraphs focusing on the relañonship among variables.
Don't worry if you are not so sure about selecting your variables, you may change or rehne this secñon in major project part 2 when you have a clearer picture of what you are researching.
