Individual Assignment
The purpose of this assignment to conduct a critical review of research about a research problem relevant to social work practice, policy, and/or research. The paper should be a typewritten comprehensive review of the relevant literature on the problem statement and description of the major research questions and/or hypotheses. You should build upon your problem statement post on Blackboard and its peer feedback. This assignment should be 3-5 pages double spaced, in APA format, and submitted on the Blackboard discussion post (note that cover page and bibliography do not count toward page total).
• Note that to be successful with this assignment, students are encouraged to use at least 10 peer-reviewed articles. While students with a strong background in summarizing literature may be able to succeed with a 3-page paper, most students use the full 5-pages to comprehensively review the literature.
• Students are encouraged to link with me throughout the process, as desired. I am very happy to review throughout the stages of paper production (from brainstorming problem statement revisions to providing a review of completed drafts). Please do not hesitate to connect. I will be available to review drafts through friday, October 4th
• Peer feedback is a required component of this assignment and accounts for 20% of the grade.
