Research Paper - Presentations

Each student will write a research paper on the biology and conservation of a plant, animal, habitat, or biome. Papers should be 10 to 15 pages (Double spaced, 12pt font) with a bibliography. Additionally, each student will present a summary of their research paper to the class during a lab period. Topics for paper/presentations should be cleared with the instructor. Material presented can be collected from journals, books, magazines, or the internet. Research paper/presentations will be graded according to the quality of research, organization, and effort. (Animal chosen and approved by instructor is the biology and conservation of polar bears.
