Research Paper:
Your research paper will comprise a total of 30% of your total grade for the class. You will write a minimum five-page (up to seven page) research paper on a particular aspect of anthropology of your choosing but vetted through the professor. Please have a topic approved by the professor before June 30!

You will be required to provide citations and references cited section in a format of your choosing (e.g., MLA, Turabian, APA, or another style), but BE CONSISTENT. You must have a minimum of five sources, but MAY receive more points if you exceed this requirement.
Everything you list within the references cited section must be internally documented within the paper (internal documentation). Example of this is: (Wilson 1980:34).
Please note that unless it is from an online journal or article, online references are generally not acceptable, especially Wikipedia or biography websites for example (there are sources within these websites that are generally useful, but document the source material, NOT Wikipedia itself! The paper is due in July and, like any of the coursework, it may be turned in early.
