You will write 5-7 page research paper a classic myth and its later retelling. This can be from any time or any genre, so Shakespeare, opera, television, novels, and more are all on the table. You will compare the difference in the original version (or at least one popular version) and its revision in a new context.

Please only use the library books and databases. Vetted scholarship is the only acceptable source for college-level work. Rando on-line sites send me into apoplexy and Wikipedia is the scourge of my existence. Except for television episodes, for which Our Lady of Wikipedia is excellent, but that is not what we are doing here.

Must be MLA format. Must use at least 5 scholarly sources with works cited page.
