Assessment

Purpose: Students will write a report and deliver a presentation on any topic of their choice related to the concepts they learnt in this unit. They will enhance their knowledge by carrying out research on emerging technological trends or radical innovations in the industry and referring to a case study on how organizations benefit by implementing such technologies.

Assessment topic: Impact assessment of a Technology Trend by researching and explaining the evolution, benefits and applications.

Task Details: Students will have to write a 1200-word report on any topic of their choice pertaining to the impact assessment of a technology trend and referring a case study explaining the evolution, benefits and applications. They will be required to find a case study to support their arguments on how an organization benefitted by implementing one or more of the five megatrends they have studied in this unit. They will also have to deliver a five-minute presentation summarizing key findings of the report.

The report will be assessed on the following criteria:

Well-written with good use of language: word choice, grammar and sentence structure Clarity of purpose
Accuracy and relevance of content

Depth of analysis with supported arguments at least three references Good recommendations and conclusion based on arguments presented

Written report (1,200 words) and presentation (5 minutes).

Note: Need to report only in 1200 words
