Digital Curation Essay Assignment -

Task: Building on your knowledge and understanding of the changing curatorial practice in a digital era, you will write and submit a well-researched project. In the research project, you will choose and research on a particular social issue based on a provided list below. You need to research on how digital media can be used to address a social issue. You will talk about how 'aesthetics', 'value' and 'labor' can be understood through the use of digital media in presenting a social issue. Take note that the social issue that you will choose will be the same social issue that you will present in your own digital gallery. Choose one social issue based on the following list:

Producing a creative copy or selecting a particular visual may mean a form of creative and affective labor in delivering a socially engaged digital work.
